Canadian 49er Class Association

The NA 49er Class will be holding its first meeting since 2005. All NA and SA sailors are invited to participate. Here are the details:
What: 2010 49er North American class meeting. To discuss regattas, training, and other business.

When: Monday, January 25th, 2010 @ 6:00 PM

Where: Miami Rowing Club

Regattas

  The class agreed to start with two yearly regattas ought to be held on each coast with participation from both coasts:

–2010:

•CORK (Aug 21 – 25, Kingston)

•Bridge 2 Bridge (Early Sept, San Fran – tbd)

–Subsequent years:

 TBD – But probably Gorge and Kingston

North American Championships

–Maybe Puerto Vallarta (MEX) in April 2011  with Training in Texas in Feb?

–Rotation for subsequent years:  CAN, USA, Other (BER, MEX, etc)

North Americans – Jan 15 to 18 – Miami, FL
RMOCR (NQR) – Jan 24 to 30 – Miami, FL
Canadian OCR – May 22 to 23 – Toronto, ON
Ottawa Skiff GP – Jun 4 to 6 – Ottawa, ON
RCYC Skiff – Jul 10 to 11 – Toronto, ON (with 29erXX)
Quebec Skiff Champs – August 13 to 15 – Quebec, QC
